The answer in two words – avoid spam!
How can you avoid spam when everyday you are bombarded with useless emails? How does that happen?
Let’s examine your email habits. Guard your real inbox address and give it out selectively. Use free web addresses (gmail or hotmail) for merchants. If it gets spammed DROP IT! If you don’t want to hear from a website again use a fake email address when filling out forms. When filling out guest books, contact lists, chat room and such, use that gmail/hotmail address. When you do buy something on line opt out of everything that you do not want to receive. DO NOT ANSWER SPAM, EVER! Use a spam filter; there are plenty that work well.
So how does that relate to your labor? How much time do you spend in your real inbox sifting through unwanted mail? Have you had to close your real email address and inform people of the change because you were spammed? Taking a few precautionary steps can save you time and your labor.
